On your device: the wallet stores recovery material, addresses, address labels, transaction history, memos and settings to provide wallet functions. iOS protects the wallet files in the app sandbox. Wallet files and saved wallets are excluded from iCloud device backups. If you enable recovery-phrase storage, the app stores that recovery material in the device Keychain.
Wallet servers: the app connects to the selected server to obtain blockchain information, synchronize balances and submit transactions. The default server is lwd-main.swarm.green:8443 on SWARM mainnet; the public testnet build uses lwd.swarm.green:443. A server can observe your IP address, connection times and requests. Requests involving transparent addresses can expose those addresses. Shielded transactions protect transaction details on the blockchain, while network metadata has separate privacy limits. Server operators control their own service logs. Ask our support address for the default service's current logging and retention details.
Blockchain records: submitted transactions are distributed to network participants. Transparent transaction details are public. Shielded transaction contents are encrypted for the relevant wallets. Recipients can retain information you send them, including memos. Confirmed blockchain records cannot be edited or deleted by the wallet publisher.
Camera and device authentication: camera access is used to read QR codes on the device. The app processes scanned codes locally. Face ID or device authentication returns an authentication result to the app. Biometric templates remain under the operating system's control.
Diagnostics and support: Apple processes TestFlight installation, usage, crash and feedback information under its TestFlight terms and privacy policy. If you submit feedback or send support email, Apple or your email provider handles the information you choose to include. Include only the details needed to reproduce the issue. Keep recovery phrases and private keys out of feedback and email.
External services: opening a website or block explorer transfers the displayed URL to your browser. That service can receive your IP address and the URL, including a transaction identifier when present. The app contains no advertising SDK or cross-app tracking. The SWARM build disables third-party name resolution and price lookup.
Retention and deletion: local wallet information remains until you remove the app or its data. Save each recovery phrase before removing wallet data. iOS Keychain entries can survive app deletion. Turn off recovery-phrase storage in Settings before uninstalling to remove that optional Keychain copy. Deleting the app does not delete blockchain records or copies retained by recipients, Apple, email providers or network operators.
